A day trip to holy place

Last week, Enric and I went to Grand Palace and Wat Arun with his friend, Ness and another friend of her, Mai (if I'm not mistaken). We took BTS from Udomsuk to Victory Monument and the bus 59 to the Grand Palace. Actually I would prefer a direct transit from BTS Udomsuk to Saphan Taksin then take the ferry to the Grand Palace (Ta Chang Pier) but however, his friends suggested to take bus so why not? It gaves me additional info to travel there. Take bus costs 13 baht to there.

Anyway, the weather was too hot that both of our skin got tanned and red. I would say, sunburn. Too much sun, less tree to be shed under. Whatever, I don't really care getting tanned tho.

Drop bullshit, let's continue. In order to go into this grand Palace, visitor have to wear long pants and sleeves shirt. Be note, this is a sacred place or something, they need you to dress properly. You can actually rent or buy clothes over there, it's cheap. Hundreds of stalls is selling pants in teh market. However, if you wanna save money, wait till 12p.m and walk to the counter to borrow pants and shirt with deposit around 200 baht. Rental during morning is chargeable. Entrance fee is 500 baht per person. :)
Next, we went to Wat Arun by taking the ferry which cost 3 baht to Tha Tien Pier.
In this picture that I took, the staircase is very narrow. By the way, it has proper direction and please follow otherwise will be stuck halfway. Oh, it's chargeable for foreigner. 50 baht per person.

The view from the entrance. Beautiful?
The couple just photo bombed. I waited them to walk faster but they walk so slow.

The weather is freaking hot during this month. Please bring sunblock and moisturizer with you to keep your skin healthy.

Tomorrow, I'm going to Chatuchak market again. This time, I'm gonna shop till I drop because I'm going back to KL for the next two weeks! Woohoo! Can't wait to go home! Gonna buy some souvenirs for families! Heheheheheeeeee.... And of course for myself. :) I'm a happy kid.
