Happy Mother's Day!

I know it's a bit too late to post this but I'm trying to update it!

Dear beloved mother....

I also made one for Enric's mother, Sylvie. Btw, too early to send her because in France, the celebrate during the end of May...(somewhere of the day, I am not really sure...)

On last Sunday, we travelled back to mom's hometown to celebrate Mother's Day along with my second mom, 妈姨. Sadly, didn't took any photo with her...

because we were too busy playing mahjong till dinner time..... And dad busy FIFA. Influenced by Enric. (Now, the even FIFA till late night because now they have two controller to play multiplayer. Happy lahhhhh.....)

Our good dinner in Dengkil. Famous chilli fish but we eat whatever more than that. Total, RM400++ for 9 pax. Better than other five stars restaurant. im serious. I even said if anyone going to plan wedding dinner, this is a good recommendation. Cheap and yummy.

Best day of the year! I believe more better day will come soon....!

It's been awhile

Hello, people!
It has been awhile ever since my last last post. Supposingly my previous post should posted up on the 6th or the 7th of April after my uncle passed away but my internet in Thailand has expired and got no internet.

However, I still have no time yet to post anything yes because I was in vacation after my training. Me and Enric went to Krabi for 4 days long in Phra Nang Inn.

My room interior, it has a bathub next to my bed! Anyway, not much photo of room but....

A pool.... Near to beach.....

A second pool! Near to my room but I still went to the first pool. This is more quiet and calm pool because less people came here. Surprisingly, it has garden right beside! But have to walk through mini staircase.

Street view...

Isn't it lovely? Near to the beach, crowded with shops and massage therapy.

View captured outside the balcony of my room. Sadly, we can't see any sunset. Not really matter because the view is stunning!

After 4 days in Krabi, we flew to Chiang Mai and there's where my brother joined in! After almost a month, we met again. We checked in Mandala House, a massive unique budget hotel. Freaking cheap but good hotel! The shower amenities will never run out, awesome room with balcony and with bathub! We stayed ground floor, next to the elevator : many guests talked loudly without considering the room nearby, but we didn't ask for another room as we don't really mind because we are too tired to switch room and hassle the staff. We thought there is no pool but apparently there is a pool! Nice and small. Not much people using it anyway, doesn't matter bout the size tho. It's located inside housing area with lots of budget hotel. Mandala House may be considered as budget but they do provide breakfast and free wifi. Totally out of expectation! 3 days in Chiang Mai is awesome! Bro and Enric enjoyed it! Especially.......

With the cabaret ladyboys! Hahaha! Btw, we bumped into Daniela and Yves (Enric's friend) in one of the temple and we hang out on that day.

Oh oh! We visited 3D art museum. Thanks to me for checking the brochure at the front desk. Everyone enjoyed much!

One of my favorite! It's edited with rain drops. Hahahaha!!!!

Last day in Chiang Mai before flying back to K.L, I realized something.....

I'm pregnant!!!!! Just kidding. Food poisoning + inflammation ureter and small intestine.... These continuos for freaking 1week plus. Injection, plenty of medicines and 2 doctors. This photo took on the second time I consulted with my doctor, Dr. Wong and declared inflammation with dehydration. Swollen till this bad. Worst thing ever! Not sure in it was the second day's dinner or the 3 milk teas I had on the second day. Because I'm the only one suffered..... However, I think I'm fully recovered because I did not finished my medicine although I know it's a must. Way too disgusting....

In the loving memory of uncle Joseph Yee Chat Khow

On the 4th of April 2014, dearest uncle has lost his battle against cancer. A strong man that I know, a loving father of my beloved cousins, a caring and thoughtful husband to my aunt.

Today, you have completely left us. You have gone too soon but I believed your heart and soul are still with us. You're now in the arm of Jesus, no longer suffering in pain. You are now free from the pain.

I am sorry that I couldn't send you off today, I am only able to watch you thru Skype. I couldn't hold my tears but I am trying to hold now as I'm typing this in the plane.

Dearest "kaiyeh", I am not longer hearing your voice nor seeing you anymore. Please be the guardian angel above, bless your children and wife. We will help you to take over your duty. May your soul rest in peace. Do not worry from above. I believe your children has grown mature, able to make good decision in life.

Although you look fierce, but we know you're a humble and humorous person. A person who doesn't say no to people's request, who always only say no for not to hassle anyone, a person who always forgive people.

You will be forever remembered in our heart. Be happy in Jesus arms. We love you. <3

Dearest uncle with dearest grandmother....

Living independently

Throughout the whole internship, I've been trying my best to use only my monthly allowance to survive. 9,000 baht is equivalent to 900 ringgit, equivalent to 205 euro. It's per month. Paying all the rental, utilities bill, transportation, groceries and some small snacks. I strongly say that earning and living with this amount of monthly allowance is just comme çi comme ça. No shopping, nothing.

Now I miss being a student, a child where I don't need to spend according to my limitation.
P.s: For your information, I did not simply spend my parent's money. I buy what I need, not what I want.

What I mean is that you spend with your monthly allowance that given by your parent and you also do not have to pay rental, meal, utilities and etc by yourself. Being a small kid is always the best. Now am planning ahead for my future, my career. It's not easy. Searching for a job which I think I am right for, hoping it will be beyond my expectation. (God bless me)

Going back to K.L within two days time for my visa. Will be attending an interview or maybe a coffee session for the new position that I've just applied. Hopefully it blooms. (God bless me x2)

Hoping everything is fruitful and god please bless for uncle's wealth. Give strength to aunt and their two child's who are still at very young age.

Peace!

Dear Anne Gus,

Regarding your post "Asian Women Need To Stop Dating White Man". I am totally NEGATIVE with your "thoughts".

First of all, those women that you said they're wearing blanket around them is called HIJAB.They completely cover up the self it's because of their culture. Please get yourself a cross-cultural class before you wanna judge someone from your culture.

Your WMAW post has clearly shown you are in need of man which I want to say that you're officially DRIED. You can't get a man of your race and you put the blame on us, the ASIAN or you rather prefer us to call ourself the YELLOW. Why would you like to call us by color anyway? Black, yellow, brown, purple or so whatever. You think you WHITE is pure? Just one question, are you a human? I welcome you to the universe. Anyway, you WHITE should stop grading people by color. Why don't you grade vegetable, animal, fruit and whatever by color?

Like "Amitabha" (sorry for the chanting), you need to stop discriminating your own race.

We are not too narrow sighted wanted to get a white or the white coming to us trying to taste our wanton soup. They're privilege? You're trying to save our life by reading your thought and stop dating them? You need to get a life.

Whatever yellow fever or hentai-ism, you're too much.

"Upon contraction of Yellow Fever, White men suddenly stop going after strong and beautiful white women like myself, and start trading us for our shorter, black haired and more yellow-hued sisters, namely, you people. "

Strong and beautiful white like yourself? Oh please, you're not even beautiful at all for posting such discriminating thought. That's why white men go for yellow. Trading you? Are you a Pokemon? I would like to trade you for a better Pokemon which don't give me a face palm.

When you said Asian women are exotic, I'm like "Wow, I'm an exotic human. I'm so fucking special." You can't think of any better word rather than carbonated drinks? When it comes to you, I can't think of any other things to describe you than a bleach. Useful but smell at the worst. Overdose destroy the material. Worst product ever.

"Being a very cultured young woman in her twenties who watches a lot of foreign film, I faced this stereotype many years ago. I mean how many female ninjas do you see in all the Bruce Chan movies ?" Who is Bruce Chan? Let me correct you, it's either Bruce Lee or Jacky Chan. You sure you watched? Name me the latest movie by Jackie Chan then, without googling.

Go for our man? You should try though but I don't think you can do it because of your "stopWMAW" disease.

Asking white man to back off and go back to you and your friend? I hope you'll find your happiness soon. "Amitabha".

Read here for Anne Gus' post.

Please hashtag around #startWMAW and #universalism.

Peace!

A day trip to holy place

Last week, Enric and I went to Grand Palace and Wat Arun with his friend, Ness and another friend of her, Mai (if I'm not mistaken). We took BTS from Udomsuk to Victory Monument and the bus 59 to the Grand Palace. Actually I would prefer a direct transit from BTS Udomsuk to Saphan Taksin then take the ferry to the Grand Palace (Ta Chang Pier) but however, his friends suggested to take bus so why not? It gaves me additional info to travel there. Take bus costs 13 baht to there.

Anyway, the weather was too hot that both of our skin got tanned and red. I would say, sunburn. Too much sun, less tree to be shed under. Whatever, I don't really care getting tanned tho.

Drop bullshit, let's continue. In order to go into this grand Palace, visitor have to wear long pants and sleeves shirt. Be note, this is a sacred place or something, they need you to dress properly. You can actually rent or buy clothes over there, it's cheap. Hundreds of stalls is selling pants in teh market. However, if you wanna save money, wait till 12p.m and walk to the counter to borrow pants and shirt with deposit around 200 baht. Rental during morning is chargeable. Entrance fee is 500 baht per person. :)
Next, we went to Wat Arun by taking the ferry which cost 3 baht to Tha Tien Pier.
In this picture that I took, the staircase is very narrow. By the way, it has proper direction and please follow otherwise will be stuck halfway. Oh, it's chargeable for foreigner. 50 baht per person.

The view from the entrance. Beautiful?
The couple just photo bombed. I waited them to walk faster but they walk so slow.

The weather is freaking hot during this month. Please bring sunblock and moisturizer with you to keep your skin healthy.

Tomorrow, I'm going to Chatuchak market again. This time, I'm gonna shop till I drop because I'm going back to KL for the next two weeks! Woohoo! Can't wait to go home! Gonna buy some souvenirs for families! Heheheheheeeeee.... And of course for myself. :) I'm a happy kid.

Problem again...

Both of me and Enric keeps on having problem staying in Bangkok. It was a disappointment. Maybe not for him but for me, YES. Maybe it's my first time living independently with own apartment with all those responsibilities to carry.

During the first month, we have trouble with True internet with the owner suddenly cut off our tv channels, we lost our main entertainment.

Firstly, the internet were recommended by everyone. "true internet is good" bla bla bla. Bullshit. Not good when you stay in BangNa area. It was a total disappointment. We can't even have proper Skype and checking email, as well as Facebook.

Later on, the tv channels which we have been watching for 2 weeks suddenly is not working. Why? Owner cut it off. Thank you. Next, we received electricity bill which half of it we did not consume as the bill came every mid of month. And we only move in on the 6th. So, we don't wanna pay it for free. The previous month before we move in, the owner didn't pay, hence we kena penalty. We try to sort out with agent and owner, story story explain explain. I think the owner is thinking that we are trying to cheat is 100 baht++. Nonsense. They wanna see the bill so we give. They keep it, they only pay the December bill and did not inform us that they didn't pay for January, we kena penalty again this month. What a fucking nice owner. Sorry to say so but you caused us to get penalty when we don't even wanna have it at all. So now, they ask us to pay all then only they will settle it when we move out. I can't wait to stop the contract with this owner although this apartment is nice.

This month, once True 3G expired, Enric recommended AIS because his colleague said so. Again, but I think we should continue use DTAC which our phone is currently using it. The line is fast but however, Enric wanna try AIS. So go lor....

We checked on the internet, we go to AIS store in Terminal 21, the staff show me this. We thought that the 3G 599 baht is a good deal (table on the top) because free 30 HD movie and free e-books. After two weeks trying to use it to watch movie from megashare.com, it has failed us. Loaded 15minutes, gone. No more loading and 2GB habis.

Then we remembered we have free movie if we download the apps of the movie store by AIS since we have free 30 HD movie. Tried yesterday, failed again. Unavailable apps. We went to the store to check, they say this deal have been expired on 31 January. 2 weeks ago, we were showed this deal which is somewhere on Valentine's week. What do you mean it ended? I feel like cheated. Because of the package, we bought it as well because in the internet didn't mention about expiring deal and your staff is showing me this deal without saying expiry date!

They took long time to solve our problem regarding this deal, around 30 minutes, they came out with a solution. Satisfied enough, I don't have to pay following month internet. So I can use for free. Luckily is my last month if I am not offered any job here. Thank you so much as I'm not expecting you to do that for us. Thumbs up!! Thank you for understanding this problem. Unlike the BTS. None of them solve your problem at all, not reply your email, doesn't care if you're unsatisfied. Their customer service sucks to the max. Yes, it's true. Use MRT better. They do offer cards. Stay somewhere near to MRT instead of BTS. Useless service ever.

Dear BTS,

Yes, I am a fucking unsatisfied customer after using your service. I will never recommend people to use your service as your staff is freaking impolite, low standard, unskilled, unprofessional, NEGATIVE!

Sincerely
ME!
